Galyat is a cool hill resort. Summer is too cool and pleasant with random black clouds and rain. Winter is cold and remain for 4-5 months. Snow fall is an enjoyable feature in winter. Spring and autumn are also attractive.

- THANDIANI Thandiani is a derived from Urdu word "Thand" meaning cold. This hill station is famous for its calmness and being one of the highest in the region. Thandiani is characterized by excellent weather and lush greenery in the summer months, and snow-covered vistas and hills in the winter. The place is also famous for its wildlife including leopard, pheasants, flying squirrel, pine marten, monkeys.
