Pakistan officially proclaimed as Islamic Republic Of Pakistan is a country in South Asia.It has area
of 796,096 kilometre square with a population of 191 million.It is 6th largest in terms of population and 36th largest in terms of area in the World.Pakistan shares a border of 1600 km with India, 600 km with China, 2250 km with Afghanistan, 800 km with Iran. Pakistan has Coastline of 800 km from Gwadar to Karachi. The Republic of Tajikistan is only 20 km far from Pakistani land by Afghan territory called Wakhan Belt.

Unfortunately, today the news emerging on media are so much polarized that it gives a very unreal image of Pakistan.

        The area which now forms Pakistan was home to ancient civilisations like Indus civilisation(2800-1800 BC) at Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, Neolithic(2800-1800 BC)  at Mehrgarh, Vedic Civilisation(1500-500 BC) at Gandharan City(Modern Taxila) and Multan. Due to this Multan attained the honour of being important Hindu pilgrimage town. Later on present Pakistan territory was ruled by Achaemenid Empire(519 BC),  Alexander the Great's(329 BC), Ashoka (185 BC). Gandharan civilisation still had deep roots and reached its apex in(165-150 BC) at Taxila. It provided Taxila the prestige of being home to most oldest higher educational institute.In medieval periods(711 AD) Muhammad Bin Qasim was frist Muslim General who fought to establish Muslim Empire here. The Muslim rule consolidated and continued under following empire in whole of Sub-Continent(Present:Pakistan, India, Bangladesh):Ghaznavid Empire (975–1187 AD), Delhi Sultanate (1206–1526 AD),  Mughal Empire (1526–1857 AD).Slowly in 1800 the influence of Britisher increased in sub-Continent through East India Company which was calmed to be purely a business enterprise. In 1857 Britisher fully controlled sub-continent. After great struggle of Muslims of sub-continent Pakistan was achieved on 14 August, 1947.

           Pakistan is land of diversity. Pakistan has got all forms of land. From lush green field to
deserts, Green Mountains to Dry Mountains, Plateaus, Highest Peaks in the North to Sea in the South. God has gifted Pakistan with everything.

            Pakistan has four provinces, federally administered tribal Areas, and independent Gilgit Baluchistan. Pakistan is most diverse in terms of land.

             Pakistan is home to many ethnic groups.Pathan in the north-west, Balouchi in south-west, Sindhis in soth-east and Punjabis in north-east. About 97% population are follow Islam and other religion include Hindus(1.5%), Christian(1%) and others. Urdu is national anguage but English is encourged in educational institutions and offices. Others than that Punjabi, Pashto, Sariki, Sindhi, Balochi, Hindko are some of the regional languages.

            Pakistan is mainly an agricultural country with somehow industrial base. Pakistan`s main agricultural products include:wheat, rice, cotton, sugarcane, fruits(mangoes,oranges many more), vegetable, livestock(milk,cheese etc),pottery(chicken,eggs).

            Pakistan has also a nice industrial base. it includes textiles which produce major junk of foreign exchange,processed foods, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, paper products, fertilizer, sports goods, and many others. You may know that Pakistan produces 50% of the World footballs and Pakistan has honor to produces footballs for every football World cup.

    Pakistan is a democratic state. Government is comprised of three main organs: The Legislative, Executive and Judiciary. Legislative is law making body with bicameral parliament. Executive includes Prime Minister, President at federal level and Chief Minister and governor at provincial levels. Judiciary include Supreme Court at federal and High Courts in each province.
